A Day of Achievement in Athletics

On 6th of September, DISTRICT ATHLETICS SELECTION TRIAL FOR WEST ZONE JUNIOR ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP was held at MS University Vadodara.

The students of PWS Vadodara participated in Under 14 and under 16 boys and girls.

Below is the result of the tournament.

  1. Amrita Joseph - 1st position in 100 Mtr and 2nd position in Long jump. (Under 14 girls).
  2. Rahil Rami - 1st position in Long jump and 3rd position in 100 Mtr (under 16 boys).
  3. Meesha Sharma - 2nd position in Shot put. (Under 16 girls).
  4. Anjali Thakker - 1st position in Long Jump 2nd position in 100 Mtr (Under 14 girls).
  5. Chirag Jha - 3rd position in 100 Mtr and 600 Mtr.

All the athletes getting 1st and 2nd position in this event will represent in Gujarat State tournament which is coming very soon.
