Dear Parents

It is a moment of great pride & honour for us. Podar Group of Schools has been awarded as the Best ICT Enabled School of the year by Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS), which has direct affiliation with central government.

The occasion was graced by dignitaries such as the Minister of Panchayati Raj and DONER, Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar, Former Minister and MP, Shri Suresh P Prabhu, Joint Secretary, Minsitry of HRD, Shri Subhash C Khuntia and Additional Secretary, DIT, Ministry of Communicaiton and IT, Shri R Chandrashekar, among many others, who also gave away the awards in the various categories.

The Awards got an overwhelming response from the ICT community all over, with more than 174 entries coming in for the various categories. In order to ensure that only the best were selected and awarded, the award committee used an elaborate evaluation criteria.

This award was only possible due to vision of our honorable trustee Mr. Pavan Podar, it was his keenness to develop the ICT structure of the schools, along with support of all the principals of the schools, teachers, and above all our hardware & software team, which has been back-bone of the ICT implementation.

The criteria for the award was effective use of hardware, software in the schools, the overall ICT setup. I would also like to thank parents for their continuous support. For more information about the awards you can view the eIndia2008 Website.
